Community Guidelines

Rounds Golf – Effective Date: April 2026

These Community Guidelines apply to all users of the Rounds Golf application and related services, operated by Nexera Labs Inc. (“Rounds,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

Rounds is designed to provide golfers with a welcoming, respectful, and safe place to share golf content, connect with other players, organize rounds, and enjoy the game together.

By using Rounds, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Respect Other Golfers

Treat other users with respect, both online and in person.

You may not:

  • Harass, threaten, bully, intimidate, or repeatedly target another person

  • Use hateful, discriminatory, degrading, or abusive language

  • Encourage violence or harm toward another person or group

  • Engage in stalking, unwanted contact, or sexual harassment

  • Impersonate another person, organization, golf course, or Rounds representative

  • Share another person’s private information without permission

Disagreements are permitted. Personal attacks, targeted abuse, and harmful conduct are not.

2. Appropriate Social Content

These Guidelines apply to all content shared through Rounds, including:

  • Posts and captions

  • Photos and video clips

  • Profile photos, usernames, display names, and bios

  • Comments and replies

  • Tags and mentions

  • Direct messages and group chats

  • Tee-time posts and group content

  • Links and other shared material

You may not upload, publish, send, or share:

  • Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content

  • Sexual content involving minors or the exploitation of minors

  • Graphic violence, gore, or content celebrating serious harm

  • Hate speech or content attacking people based on protected characteristics

  • Credible threats, encouragement of violence, or instructions to harm others

  • Content promoting suicide, self-harm, or dangerous acts

  • Illegal content or content facilitating criminal activity

  • Scams, fraud, phishing, spam, or deceptive promotions

  • Malware, malicious links, or attempts to compromise another user’s account

  • Content depicting or promoting animal cruelty

  • Content intended primarily to shock, humiliate, or exploit another person

Golf-related humour and competitive banter are welcome when they remain respectful and appropriate.

3. Privacy and Personal Information

Respect the privacy and safety of others.

You may not share another person’s private or sensitive information without authorization, including:

  • Home addresses

  • Personal phone numbers or email addresses

  • Financial or payment information

  • Login credentials

  • Government identification

  • Precise private location information

  • Private messages or images shared in confidence

Do not secretly record, photograph, or publish another person where doing so would violate their privacy or applicable law.

4. Authenticity and Intellectual Property

Only share content you have the right to use.

You may not:

  • Post content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights

  • Pretend to be another golfer, creator, business, course, or organization

  • Misrepresent your identity, golf history, affiliations, or accomplishments

  • Manipulate media in a way intended to deceive or harm others

  • Repeatedly repost another creator’s content without permission or attribution

Rounds may remove content following a valid rights-holder complaint.

5. Safe and Fair Play

Users are expected to use Rounds honestly and responsibly.

You may not:

  • Falsify scores, rounds, locations, or gameplay activity

  • Manipulate challenges, XP, badges, leaderboards, statistics, or rewards

  • Create fake, automated, or duplicate accounts to gain an advantage

  • Coordinate artificial engagement, likes, follows, comments, or referrals

  • Exploit bugs, glitches, security weaknesses, or unintended app behaviour

  • Interfere with the proper operation of Rounds or another user’s account

Rounds may remove unfair progress, correct statistics, revoke rewards, restrict features, or suspend accounts involved in abuse.

6. Tee-Time and In-Person Conduct

When participating in rounds organized through Rounds:

  • Arrive on time or notify the group if plans change

  • Communicate respectfully with other players

  • Follow golf course rules and staff instructions

  • Play safely and responsibly

  • Respect pace of play, course property, and other golfers

  • Do not pressure another user into sharing personal information or meeting privately

Users who repeatedly no-show, harass players, misuse tee-time listings, or create unsafe experiences may lose access to matchmaking, groups, messaging, or other account features.

7. Messaging and Communication

Direct messages and group chats are intended for legitimate golf-related and social interaction.

You may not use Rounds to:

  • Send repeated unwanted messages

  • Send bulk spam, unsolicited advertising, or deceptive promotions

  • Harass, threaten, manipulate, or sexually solicit another user

  • Request passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information

  • Conduct fraudulent transactions or impersonate Rounds support

  • Evade a block by creating or using another account

Users may block other users to prevent further interaction.

8. Reporting and Blocking

Users can report content, messages, accounts, or behaviour that may violate these Guidelines.

Reports may include:

  • Harassment or threats

  • Hate speech

  • Nudity or sexual content

  • Graphic or dangerous content

  • Spam, scams, or impersonation

  • Privacy violations

  • Fake accounts

  • Cheating or system manipulation

  • Unsafe real-world conduct

  • Intellectual-property concerns

Reports should be made honestly. Repeatedly submitting false or abusive reports may itself result in enforcement.

Blocking a user limits that user’s ability to interact with you through supported Rounds features. Blocking does not automatically determine that a violation occurred.

9. Content Review and Moderation

Rounds may use automated systems, manual review, user reports, or a combination of these methods to identify potentially harmful or prohibited content.

Content may be:

  • Published normally

  • Temporarily limited or placed under review

  • Hidden from recommendations or discovery

  • Removed or blocked before publication

  • Restricted while a report is reviewed

Automated systems can make mistakes. A moderation notice may provide a reason or a way to contact support when further review is appropriate.

Attempting to evade moderation by altering, re-uploading, disguising, or repeatedly posting prohibited content may result in stronger enforcement.

10. Enforcement

Depending on the nature, severity, history, and context of a violation, Rounds may:

  • Issue a warning

  • Remove or restrict content

  • Disable comments, messaging, posting, discovery, or matchmaking access

  • Remove unfair statistics, XP, badges, rewards, or leaderboard results

  • Temporarily suspend an account

  • Permanently terminate an account

  • Preserve or disclose information when legally required

  • Report credible threats or illegal activity to appropriate authorities

Severe violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning.

11. Appeals and Support

Users who believe content or an account was restricted incorrectly may contact Rounds Support and provide relevant details.

Submitting an appeal does not guarantee restoration. We may uphold, modify, or reverse a moderation decision after reviewing the available information.

12. Real-World Safety

Use good judgment when meeting or playing with people you first connected with through Rounds.

Rounds does not guarantee:

  • The identity or intentions of another user

  • The accuracy of user-provided information

  • The conduct of golfers or golf courses

  • Tee-time availability

  • The safety of in-person interactions

Consider meeting in public locations, telling someone where you are going, protecting your personal information, and contacting emergency services when immediate assistance is required.

Participation in golf rounds, events, and meetups is at your own discretion and risk.

13. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through it.

You should:

  • Keep login credentials private

  • Use accurate account information

  • Protect access to your device

  • Notify support if your account may have been compromised

  • Avoid allowing another person to use your account

14. Protecting the Community

Help us maintain a positive golf community.

Please:

  • Welcome golfers of different backgrounds and skill levels

  • Encourage sportsmanship

  • Respect course staff and other players

  • Share constructive and authentic content

  • Report harmful behaviour when necessary

  • Use blocking and privacy tools where appropriate

Rounds is designed to grow the game through positive social experiences.

15. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines periodically to reflect changes to Rounds, our safety practices, or applicable requirements.
